‘Leo111’ outlasted the 717 player-field on Sunday, 2 July to win a massive $13,999 in the boosted guaranteed prize pool KKPoker $100K SUPER GLORY PKO tournament.

Mongolia’s ‘Amgalan-27’ picked up the bronze medal in 3rd place after running into Pocket Aces. With the blinds at 300K/600K, Japan’s ‘ケトル’ raised to 1.2M from the Small Blind holding A♠ A♥.

‘Amgalan-27’ only had a 4BB equivalent chip stack, and opted to call the raise holding Q♣ 10♦. 

After the flop fell 10♥ 9♦ 7♥, ‘Amgalan-27’ shoved for 1.7M and was snap-called. The board ran out 9♣ 2♠ and ‘Amgalan-27’, who had eliminated 11 opponents during the tournament, exited with $4,624 + $1,302 in bounty rewards. 

With heads-up play beginning, ‘ケトル’ held the chip lead with 19M to 7.5M.

However, the chip lead reversed just a few hands later. ‘Leo111’ called on the button with a 13BB stack holding Q♠ 8♠ and called for their tournament life after ‘ケトル’ raised all in with A♠ 5♦. The board ran out Q♥ 5♣ 4♣ 7♠ 10♥ and ‘Leo111’ doubled up. 

‘ケトル’ then regained the chip lead after hitting a flush, but then both players hit a flush just 3 hands later on the 8♠ J♥ K♥ A♥ 3♠ board, and ‘Leo111’ doubled again holding Q♥ 9♥ against 6♥ 2♥. 

The final hand came moments later when ‘Leo111’ moved all in from the Button with A♥ 6♠, and ‘ケトル’ called for their last 8BB with 4♥ 4♣.

The board fell 7♦ K♥ 3♣ A♣ 5♠ and ‘Leo111’ hit top pair to claim the victory!

$20K HIGH ROLLER PKO

‘말랑말랑’ won the KKPoker $20K HIGH ROLLER for $8,627 after battling through an all-Japan final table!

Last week’s GLORY WARM-UP champion ‘Tadamasa’ continued their run good form and took 5th place for $1,155, but failed to earn any bounty elimination rewards. 

‘ノンコノユメ’ took 3rd place for $2,309 after running into a dominating hand. ‘말랑말랑’ raised to 84K from the Button with blinds at 20K/40K holding K♣ 8♦ and ‘ノンコノユメ’ 3-bet shoved for 340K holding K♦ J♠. ‘Newwing’ 4-bet shoved for 1.8M with A♠ J♣ from the Big Blind, and ‘말랑말랑’ folded.

The board was revealed to be 9♦ 3♣ 2♥ 6♦ 3♠ and the elimination was confirmed. 

The heads-up battle was then fierce and lasted 30 minutes before the final deciding hand!

With the blinds at 50K/100K, ‘말랑말랑’ moved all in for 4.2M holding 5♠ 5♥ and ‘Newwing’ called for 1M with 3♦ 3♣. The board ran out A♦ 8♠ 7♦ 4♠ J♥, which meant no pocket pair reversal for ‘Newwing’ who departed as runner-up for a $4,925 prize.

$20K GLORY WARM-UP

There was to be a $3,890 payday for ‘ima880’ after they topped a 183-player field in the KKPoker $20K GLORY WARM-UP MTT on Sunday, 2 July.

In 3rd place was Cyprus’ ‘Egyptian_Messi’ who shoved from the Small Blind for 4BB with K♣ 9♣ and was called by ‘白玉25世’ who held 5♥ 5♠. The A♥ 3♥ 5♦ flop gave ‘白玉25世’ a set, and they sealed the pot on the 8♠ turn and 4♣ river. 

‘白玉25世’ held a 2-1 chip lead at the start of heads-up, but just 25 hands later it was ‘ima880’ who won the final pot. 

With blinds at 80K/160K, ‘白玉25世’ raised to 320K holding K♥ 7♦. ‘Ima880′ called with J♦ 9♦ and hit trips on the K♠ 9♠ 9♥ flop. 

The action went check, bet 320K, raise to 845K, all in for 1.8M, and call! 

‘白玉25世’ saw the bad news that their two pair was behind, and the 10♥ turn and 7♥ river didn’t change the outcome in the cooler final heads-up hand!
