‘gsrk’ won over $10,000 on Sunday, 16 July after becoming a new GLORY champion on KKPoker!

The $100 buy-in $50K GLORY PKO got underway at 07:00 GMT and attracted 449 unique players for the epic battle!

This week saw a very rare ending to the tournament with a double-elimination occurring…

With the Blinds at 80K/160K, ‘syumai1’ moved all in from the Button for 13BB holding 6♦ 6♣.

‘🔶ケン🔶’ was in the small blind and 3-bet shoved for 30BB with K♠ Q♣.

Chipleader ‘gsrk’ couldn’t believe their luck holding A♠ A♦ in the Big Blind and snap-called!

The flop fell A♣ J♥ J♠ and ‘gsrk’ hit a full house. The K♥ on the turn and 5♥ on the river secured the double KO for ‘gsrk’ and they were crowned this week’s victor!

$30K HIGH ROLLER PKO

‘OWAKEN’ came through a heads-up battle against ‘ha8p’ to win the $30K KKPOKER HIGH ROLLER on Saturday, 15 July and bank a prize worth over $8,000!

The $200 buy-in PKO tournament attracted 139 unique players, knowing the winner would be declared this week’s best-of-the-best and earn a KKPoker Honor Frame!

‘カモノハシ’ was eliminated in 4th place when they ran A♦ J♦ into K♦ K♥ and received no help from the board. And just two heads later, ‘ちかいわ’ was eliminated in 3rd place.

With Blinds at 20K/40K, ‘ちかいわ’ raised to 80K on the Button with 10♠ 9♠. ‘ha8p’ called from the Big Blind with the strong A♦ K♠, and the flop fell A♣ 3♣ 10♦.

‘ha8p’ check-raised a 66K continuation-bet to 198K, and ‘ちかいわ’ called to see the 3♥ turn.

‘ha8p’ moved all in for 3.1M and ‘ちかいわ’ called with two pair for 741K. The 4♣ on the river was no help for ‘ちかいわ ’and they departed.  

‘ha8p’ held the chip lead to start heads-up with 4.5M against 1.4M, but it was not to be an easy battle!

‘OWAKEN’ dominated to win the majority of the early hands to take the lead, but ‘ha8p’ was resilient and battled hard to regain their chip advantage. However, after 20 minutes of action, the final hand arrived…

With Blinds at 40K/80K, ‘OWAKEN’ raised to 176K holding Q♣ Q♦, and ‘ha8p’ called with K♥ 9♠. The flop fell 9♥ 7♠ 2♠ and ‘ha8p’ check-raised a 190K bet to 571K. ‘OWAKEN’ shoved for 3.4M and ‘ha8p’ called for 2.1M total.

‘ha8p’ saw the bad news that their flopped top pair was losing, and when the 2♣ turn and 2♥ river were shown, not even their final Full House hand ranking could save them from departing as the runner-up, having also achieved a 7th place finish in the $50K GLORY!

$20K GLORY WARM-UP

The KKPoker $20K GLORY WARM-UP saw three players from three nations in the final podium battle with Japan, New Zealand and Argentina all represented.

Argentina’s ‘Tibu’ was eliminated in a cooler situation after running a Straight into a Full House!

With the Blinds at 40K/80K, ‘Tibu’ raised to 160K on the Button with Q♦ J♦ and ‘jangoro.T’ called from the Big Blind with 8♣ 6♣. The flop fell K♣ Q♣ 5♦ and both players checked before the 10♦ was revealed on the turn.

‘jangoro.T’ bet 198K and ‘Tibu’ called, with the 9♣ river improving both players holdings. With 800K in the pot, ‘jangoro.T’ shoved for 2.5M and ‘Tibu’ called for 970K, but their Straight was no good.

‘jangoro.T’ started as the 2-to-1 chip leader but stacks were bought back to even, before ‘jangoro.T’ pressured ‘quae errores’ over the 35-minute duel before sealing victory…

‘quae errores’ had been reduced to just 4BB, and when ‘ jangoro.T’ shoved from the Button holding A♣ J♣, they called with 4♠ 3♥.

The board fell K♦ A♠ 7♠ K♠ 8♥, and although ‘quae errores’ had hopes of surviving after picking up the Flush draw on the turn, the river fell in the favor of Japan’s ‘jangoro.T’ who was declared the winner.
