KKPoker is delighted to announce our latest live poker event in Canada for 2025 as our premier KKLIVE event returns to Montreal, Quebec, in November. 

After the recent successful events in Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick, KKLIVE will visit Montreal for a third time!

The online and offline combination event will offer KKPoker players many opportunities to qualify for the LIVE DAY 2 and a guaranteed cash prize. 

Brand-new for this event will be live Freeroll tournament, plus once again, eligible players will be able to claim up to a CAD$600 travel allowance and a free one night hotel stay! Learn all the event details below. 

KKLIVE Montreal

The Main Event will feature a CAD$300 buy-in, with ONLINE Day 1s beginning 15 September and LIVE Day 2 on 22 November.

All Day 2 players will be ITM (In the Money).

KKPoker community members will also have the chance to play the CAD$2,000 LIVE FREEROLL. Complete the online entry mission to earn your ticket to play!

As always, KKPoker players can win their entry buy-in for less via online satellites.

A fixed conversion rate of USD$220 = CAD$300 will be used throughout the event.

Freeroll will operate on a first-come first-served basis for eligible players who completed the online mission and earned an entry ticket. CAD$2,000 prize pool with top nine in the money.

$50 of every Side Event buy-in will be donated to our chosen local charity. $200 KO bounty on every player. 10% of unique entries in the money.

All payouts will be made into player’s KKPoker account.

Payout: All Day 2 players will be in the money. The full payout structure will be announced after the final Live Day 1 has been completed. 

LIVE DAY 2 QUALIFIERS

Online qualifiers for the KKLIVE Montreal Live Day 2 will appear here and be updated after every Online Day 1.

TRAVEL ALLOWANCE

KKPoker is once again offering a generous travel allowance to eligible online qualifiers residing in Canada.

Players from selected provinces who qualify for Live Day 2 via Online Day1 will be eligible for the following travel credits (paid into KK accounts).

AB/BC/SK/MAN/NF: CAD$600 CAD

PEI: CAD$250 CAD

NB/NS: CAD$200 CAD

Plus, all Day 2 qualifying players will be provided one night accomodation at Hotel Universel Montreal. Player may choose to stay for free on either Friday, 21 Nov or Saturday, 22 Nov.

PAST KKLIVE IN CANADA

MONTREAL 2023

The first KKLIVE event in Canada in November 2023 saw players visit the Roma Receptions to battle for the inaugural champion’s trophy. 

31 players reached ITM, and ultimately, the final three players agreed to a money deal for $7,000+ each, with ‘Rockadown11‘ declared the overall winner!

PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND 2024

KKLIVE PEI was next up in April 2024, offering a new location for live poker experiences for the Canadian poker community. 

27 players found their way into the money spots in the Live Day 2, with Justin Pinksen defeating Nick Flemming heads-up for the trophy after a heads-up deal was agreed for $17,000 each!

The event was also successful, with CAD$15,000 donated to our charity partners! 

MONTREAL 2024

KKLIVE returned to Montreal in November 2024 and created a CAD$92,400 prize pool after 308 online Day 1 entries! 34 lucky players secured a place in the money and came together for the live Day 2 battle. 

Among the competitors were David Dongwoo Ko, KKPoker content partner PocketKyles, Vegas Dream winner Christopher Alcindor, and Minoru Oka, who traveled from Japan after qualifying online for Day 2 

Ultimately, Andrew ‘thegoose’ Goosen prevailed for CAD$17,318 and forever put his name on the champion’s trophy.

NEW BRUNSWICK 2025

After weeks of online action, live Day 1s and a live Day 2, KKLIVE New Brunswick ended in a four-way deal!

After 2024 KKPoker Canada’s Best champion Dylan Ellis exited in 5th place for CAD$7,800, the final four players agreed to an ICM deal.

Rod Ward (CAD$16,000), Steve Keith (CAD$16,200), Trent Hooper (CAD$16,425) and Jason Chan (CAD$17,000) all secured massive paydays from their CAD$350 buy-in. 

KKLIVE New Brunswick achieved a total of 475 entries through online and live Day 1s, creating a CAD$142,500 prize pool.
